True Exorcisms In Christianity
77Exorcism also takes place in other religions.
Exorcism is what Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism do to force demons from a man, woman, or child they believe to be possessed by a demon, or evil spirit. This hub will define in short explanation what the four religions do to force the demon or evil spirit out, but then will only tell the stories of the Christian exorcisms.
In Christianity Priests use prayers as well as icons, gestures, . They pray to God, and ask Angels to help force the demon to leave the person it is possessing. In Hinduism exorcism is connected to four holy books of the Hindus. The Hindus mostly use the book called Athara Vada. The Hindus mostly say the name of the lord Narashima. Reading from the scriptures Bhagavada Gita is also what they do. More information on this practice can be found online if you google Garud Purana. In Islamic exorcism is the practice of taking demons from a person or a place and forcing them too leave. The prophet Muhammed taught them to read the last three Suras from the Quran for fidelity, the dawn, and mankind. In Judaism exorcism, the practice is used to protect the possessed and the Rabbi who is driving out the evil one. There is also a group of ten men who circle around the possessed one. The ten men then read Psalm 91 three times. After that the Rabbi blows a ram's horn. They believe this will force the demon out of the body of the person who is possessed. Now here are some stories of Christian exorcisms.
The first exorcism to report to you happened to a sixteen year old girl who lived in Russia. Her exorcism was held in a Russian Orthodox Church on May 7, 2004. When the exorcism took place she began to groan, growl, then howl in a deep voice that did not sound human. As I wrote in another hub, some people who are believed to be possessed, are actually suffering from disorders like epilepsy. This woman however did not have epilepsy. After many months of being treated by Priests she suddenly became quiet, and told the Priests that the demon was gone. This story is short and did not have much in it, so many people decided it was not a true case.
The next case however, was called "The St. Louis Exorcism Case" It is the story of a boy named Robbie Doe. This case has been made into a book as well as a movie, but in the movie the character of Robbie Doe was played by a girl.
Robbie Doe's case began in 1949. He started to have problems after playing with a ouija board. He began to have violent outbursts. Throwing furniture around his home, growls, strange sounds came from his mouth. At first his parents called Jesuit Priests, but no matter how hard they tried, they were unable to force the demons to leave Robbie Doe. The next thing the parents did was to call in two Lutheran Ministers. Robbie Doe had been baptized as a Lutheran. When the Lutheran Ministers came they brought with them a Rabbi. Which is interesting, because Robbie Doe's parents had not asked for a Rabbi, but they did not ask why a Rabbi had been brought into their home. However, what happened next is very interesting. As soon as the Rabbi walked in the door, Robbie Doe sat up in bed, stared at the Rabbi and began to speak to the Rabbi. Only he did not speak in english, he spoke in aramaic, an ancient language of Palestine. He also spoke it fluently. How could such a young boy do that? He was angry at the Rabbi, but would not speak in english to him.
Then the Lutherans and the Rabbi began the exorcism. Robbie Doe started to scream. Then markings started to appear on his body, which he could not have done himself because they appeared when he was tightly held, or tied up. The first word that appeared was " Louis" which appeared on his ribcage. Then the word " NO" appeared on his back. Then when one of the priests demanded that the devil reveal himself the words " Well", "Hell". and "Spite" appeared on Robbie's chest.
Then a very amazing thing happend. Robbie was screaming loudly, and violently fighting the Priests, as well as the Rabbi who were holding him and praying. Suddenly a loud and masculine voice came from Robbie's mouth. The voice said " I am St. Micheal, the Arch-Angel" At that point the St. Micheal ordered the demon to leave. Suddenly Robbie fell quietly to the bed. He rested for a moment, the sat up smiling. Very quietly he said " He is gone"
I have put below a recording of a live exorcism. It seems to me that it is impossible for a human to be able to make such horrible sounds, however I cannot prove if it is true or not. The belief that exorcism is true or not, is up to you.
- The Rapture?
Is the rapture true or not, how important is it? Maybe we will never know.

I did not know any other way to contact you. I noticed your fan mail and I thoroughly enjoy helping you answer any question to the highest degree that I am possible.
Thank you, you are very nice. I can help you understand the Bible. But if you want to know God, prayer and Bible reading is the only way, you must personally know God.
Another thing that is very important to understand is that Prayer is how we talk to God and Bible reading is how He talks to us.
Michele very interesting well written and as always researched Hub. Also terrifying I'm glad I read this in daylight prior to my nightly prayer and meditation:) I also like the new profile picture.
